A standard pellet stove draws air for combustion from the room in which it is located, so in order to have a sufficient supply of oxygen, air inlets are needed in the room. The sealed chamber pellet stoves work by drawing oxygen directly from the outside through a direct connection pipe and connected to the chimney with an airtight flue.

Air inlets are not mandatory and airtight chamber pellet stoves can be installed in any room, even in those where traditional stoves cannot be placed, as the illustration below shows. Pellet stoves with airtight chambers are a safe, efficient and comfortable choice for any type of home, which is why a very wide range has been created to find the most suitable solution for every need.

Safe in any room

It is ideal for rooms such as studios or bedrooms and meets the requirements of passive houses because it draws oxygen directly from the outside to which it is connected by an airtight pipe, eliminating the need for air intakes, avoiding wall interventions and associated additional costs, and eliminating annoying cold air drafts that contribute to lowering the temperature in the room.

Solid and airtight

It is safe because in the event of a sudden stoppage of the boiler, the combustion gases remain trapped inside the stove and do not risk escaping.

The airtight stove is airtight: air cannot enter or leave the stove except through channels specially designed for this purpose; in the event of an extraordinary mishap, any smoke produced by the stove cannot spread in the room.

Eco-friendly and practical

With the sealed chamber pellet stove, combustion is smoother, producing less pollution and greater efficiency.

The air is healthier because no smoke escapes from the stove, even during ignition. It is also easier to clean because the air is preheated inside the stove, creating a closed loop that prevents smoke from settling on the glass.

Compliant with European standards

It complies with EU regulations and meets the standards of the most restrictive European countries such as France, Austria and Germany.

The UNI 10683:2012 standard stipulates that in studio apartments and bedrooms it is mandatory to install airtight appliances in an airtight chamber, so it is not mandatory to provide the air intake instead for all other combustion and heating systems.
